Contributions are not deductible for federal income tax purposes. The maximum contribution an individual may make to Coffman for Congress 2018 is $6,600 ($3,300 designated for the primary election, $3,300 designated to the general election). A couple may contribute up to $10,800 from a joint account. A multi-candidate federal PAC may contribute up to $10,000 ($5,000 designated for the primary election, $5,000 designated for the general election). Federal election law prohibits contributions from the general treasury funds of a corporation, labor organization or national bank, from any person contributing another’s fund, from a federal government contractor or from a foreign national who lacks permanent resident status.
